NAKED or PACKAGED?

We're talking about produce!

Do you shop naked produce, or packaged produce?

Shopping naked produce is a great way to shop in bulk and reduce plastic packaging waste...

... but there's a catch.

If you shop naked produce but use those disposable plastic produce bags that grocery stores have, you could be creating more plastic waste than if you were to buy packaged produce!

Especially if your local recycling program doesn't accept plastic bags.

That's why it's always a good idea to bring your reusable produce bags with you.

If you have trouble remembering to bring your reusable produce bags or reusable shopping bags with you when you go shopping, try keeping your bags in your car, purse, or carry bag!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just what I was looking for

"It’s awesome to be able to go get groceries without worrying about contributing to plastic waste. They’re easy to use and come in good sizes. I highly recommend this product to my friends and family. Thank you!"

Unusual Trick to Grow Herbs!

Most people who buy herbs from the grocery store don't know this unusual trick, and lose money.

This only works for basil, thyme, rosemary, mint, parsley, lemon balm, oregano, sage and marjoram.

Most people who buy these herbs lose money because they don't know that you can actually get a second sprig of herbs for free when you buy one at the grocery store...

This unusual trick allows you to reduce food waste, and save money...

...and all you need is your herbs, scissors, a cup of water, and a pot with soil!

Here's how you can regrow store-bought herbs:

  1. Remove leaves from the bottom half of the herb stem
  2. Make a 45 degree angled cut at the bottom of the herb stem
  3. Place cut side of the stem into a cup of room temperature water with the remaining leaves above the water line
  4. Leave the cup of herbs in a warm and bright area (such as a windowsill) and replace the water daily
  5. Wait about 2 weeks until roots have developed
  6. Place into a pot of soil with great drainage
  7. Water well

Good News: Colorado Bans Plastic Bags AND Styrofoam!

Did you know that about 100,000 marine animals are killed every year because of plastic bags?

And that styrofoam never decomposes in the landfill?

Colorado is taking initiative and joining the other states who have made bans to protect the environment.

Colorado will begin enforcing bans of plastic bags and single-use foam containers by 2023, and will have these bans in full effect by 2024.

There's a lot more work to be done, but this is a step in the right direction.

Once plastic bags are banned, Colorado will enforce a 10 cent fee for using paper bags to encourage everyone to bring their own reusable bags!
